Some of Mississippi Coast Audubon Society’s favorite links to partner groups and opportunities:

  • National Audubon Society.  The website for our parent organization, with a wealth of information about its activities to promote and conserve birds and habitats.
  • Pascagoula River Audubon Center. Located in Moss Point, this member of Audubon’s national network of nature centers provides visitors direct exposure and experience to the rich environment of the unique Pascagoula River.
  •  Audubon Mississippi Coastal Bird Stewardship. This arm of Audubon along the Coast promotes the management and conservation of coastal birds through volunteer engagement and citizen science.
  • Mississippi Coastal Birding Trail. This website describes over 40 sites that are used by local birders and are historically prime birding locations in the six southernmost counties of Mississippi.
  • Mississippi Gulf Coast Band of Birders. This Facebook group connects the birding community along the MS Gulf Coast by providing a place for questions, pictures, links and discussion about birding in this region.
  • Mississippi Ornithological Society. Founded in 1955 to promote a greater appreciation and protection of native birds. The group holds spring and fall meetings around the state and publishes a newsletter and The Mississippi Kite journal.
